In | #StayAtHome - Week 8

Monday 11th May - Friday 15th May

This week, we hit the 2 month mark since our lockdown began. 2 months confined to our home sounds like a lot but it really hasn't felt like it, for me anyway. I thought we'd maybe have a considerably quieter week this week but now having collated all the bits together, turns out we've still done plenty, just not some of our more regular activities like Oti's dance classes and evening cooking but I'm sure there's still going to be plenty of time in the months to come to get back to those again. In the wider world, Boris has 'eased' lockdown restrictions and people have seemingly forgotten that we're still nowhere near the end of this pandemic in the rush to get back to normal. We fear that all the hard work that's been done over the last few weeks will be swiftly undone and a second peak is looming and it'll be even longer before we can be reunited with our love ones. Let's hope with every fibre of our being that that's not the case as every time we ask Ted what he wants to do, he replies with 'see nanna' or 'go to nanna and gaddah's house' and I can't go on telling him it's not possible.
