With so may options nowadays, it's so hard to choose where to see the Big Man himself at Christmas time but we have always favoured a good ol' traditional garden centre - except Ivy has cried every single time. This year however, I feel like we're entering the peak believing years, so when we were very kindly invited to World's End Wyevale Garden Centre to experience Christmas with them, we gave her the choice and thankfully, she leapt at the chance! The shopping village is packed full of things to do - from the familiarities of Costa to a local farm produce market shop and butchers, an enormous restaurant where you can have lunch with Santa and you can even treat yourself to german market waffles before getting to the grotto.

This was so much more than just a grotto though - you walk through the enchanting winter wonderland scenes with Tiny The Elf (who made this whole experience for Ivy!) before planting your a special magic bean whilst you wait to meet Father Christmas. Once she was called through, Ivy was so excited to have a chat with Santa and show him the picture of Tenderheart she'd done for reference and absolutely adored (and believed) how her bean turned into a real Christmas tree for her to decorate and take home as well as a lovely gift.

Before we left, we hit the Christmas shop hard and with 5 different decoration collections to choose from it wasn't difficult. We got some new lights* for our main tree, the kids chose a decoration each* for their room tree and we also chose some baubles* to send in to the Brompton. As well as decorations, there was endless xmas food options to purchase, my favourite kind of gift, and of course rows upon rows of perfect Christmas trees. If we weren't in the spirit before, we certainly were after our visit and we cannot thank Wyevale enough for such a lovely opportunity.

Our Santa's Grotto Visit and a Wyevale gift card  was very kindly gifted to us in exchange for social media coverage but please be rest assured all words and opinions are entirely our own and we will be returning to World's End Wyevale Garden Centre regularly - we loved it
