Ivy Wears: Little Bird Dress, Little Bird Socks, Little Bird Shoes
Ted Wears: Mothercare Bodysuit, Little Bird Dungarees, Inch Blue Shoes

We're no strangers to a day in a museum but I have to say, this one was pretty special. I grew up loving Nick Sharatt thanks to my mum collecting his Sainsbury's early readers and of course his collaboration with my beloved Jacqueline Wilson and it has been completely magic to see that love pass down to Ivy from such a young age with the likes of You Choose and Chocolate Mousse For A Greedy Goose. So, when we saw Sharatt had his own exhibition doing the rounds and visiting very close to our home town, we had to go. The whole exhibition was everything I could have imagined it would be for us all, bringing back so many fond childhood memories for me and the reading corner giant bean bags and the ultimate Nick Sharatt collection of books being Ivy's idea of heaven.

It was a double whammy though - since we visited the Wind In The Willows trail (here), me and Ivy have been reading the book a couple of chapters at a time and again, it fills my heart watching her find such joy in the tales that I did, and still do. She loved wandering through the 3D story - "it's in my chapters!" - as much as she had enjoyed snuggling down with the Sharatt books so to find one museum with two such relevant exhibitions for her was most definitely a highlight of my summer.
