Holiday | Disneyland Paris - Day Two

Tuesday 14th November

For the first time ever, the kids getting up at the crack of dawn absolutely worked in our favour and we were up and meeting Mickey Mouse in our hotel at 8.15 and in the park by 8.30 (via Starbucks, of course). We headed straight for Fantasyland knowing that this was probably the most suited area to Ivy's age and rode the Carousel and Peter Pan's Flight before meeting Uncle Sam and Katie to do Alice's Teacups and Curious Labyrinth. We are already getting the sense that Ivy was a bit hit and miss on the rides so decided that Meet and Greets would work best for the rest of the morning and met the gorgeous Snow White in the Princess Pavilion and then the big man himself, Father Christmas in Mickey's House.

This was enough to get both babies to sleep so whilst they napped, we wandered around Adventureland, through Skull Rock and tried to get daddy to meet Jafar but it wasn't long before they were awake and raring to go again. We grabbed a quick snack (of the best fries ever) in Hakuna Matata, snuck a quick ride on Blanche-Neige and then settled in our favourite spot for the Christmas Parade which was simply magic. We danced and we sang in the streets and felt so incredibly festive! Seeing both Ivy's and Ted's little faces during the parades was right up there in my holiday/life highlights, they both adored it.

We then headed round to Discoveryland for us all to go on Buzz's Lazer Blast (a favourite of Ivy's from our previous trip) and the Autopia cars before deciding that it was time for a nice big early dinner at the Rainforest Cafe and a wonderful wind-down in our the Sequoia Lodge bar (log fire and christmas music included) before getting another early night. We are very rock 'n' roll on holiday.
