Holiday | Disneyland Paris - Day Four

Thursday 16th November

We had a much more chilled start to our final full day at Disney with the intent on starting in Frontierland - somewhere we hadn't even stepped foot in yet! - and this wasn't open during the Extra Magic Hours so after slow coffees and a mooch in some gift shops we hit the park. First off, we made my life long dream come true and met Jack Skellington dressed as Sandy Claws who was incredible! then we all went on Phantom Manor (another favourite of mine) and the Thunder Mesa River Boat

By then, we were already getting a little hungry so popped back out to Main St. to get Casey's Hotdogs which also meant we caught the Christmas Parade once more, much to Michael's joy. After a meet and greet with Woody, it was then time to watch the Frozen sing-a-long show which Ivy absolutely loved and after all that excitement, we thought we'd head back to the hotel for a couple of hours in preparation for the evening.

We napped, snacked and wrapped up warm (and snuck in a mulled wine) before making our way back through the village to the closing shows, something I had never done before. We headed round to the Studios for Goofy's Christmas Spectactular which had Mickey, Minnie and friends all on stage infront of a lit-up Tower of Terror and then went back over to Disneyland for the main fireworks. We caught Mickey's Christmas Tree Switch-On as we arrived, then wandered up Main St. to the castle to watch Illuminations. It was truly one of the most magical things I've ever seen and I'm so glad we saved it for our last night. As it happened, that very day would have been my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary and seeing as it was Grandma who first brought me to Disneyland Paris back in 1996, I couldn't think of any other way I could have celebrated it and it made the whole evening - and holiday - even more special.

We wandered back to the hotel so happy, but so hungry so we grabbed dinner at Hunter's Grill, an amazing buffet in Sequoia Lodge before getting our heads down for our final day.
