The Little Bird Christmas collections are without doubt my favourite - after gnomes, soldiers and russian dolls, I cannot contain my excitement to see what the team have come up with each year knowing full well that they never disappoint and 2017 is of course no different. Once again, we've been treated to thick winter textures, eskimo kisses and perfect party dresses - what more could you need for the holiday season!

I don't even know where to begin when it comes to chatting you through what I love about this collection as once again I just adore it all. My stand out piece though (I think, it changes daily) are the Waiting For Santa pyjamas with the 'He's Been!' motif on the back and I cannot to have my two clamber into bed with me on Christmas morning wearing these. I am loving the collars for Ivy, the footed leggings for Ted and of course the rather large amount of twinning opportunities across the child and baby ranges. My other absolute must haves are the ric rac rainbows that feature on the purple raglan, yellow cord skirt and the red romper.

There is one dress missing from this set of photos (which happens to be my favourite! oops!) which is a floral version of last year's 'Wednesday Addams' best-seller and also, the most exciting of all, an adult jumper the same as the red fairisle knit.

Not only do I love this collection for exactly what it is, but this season is now always going to hold a very special place in my heart as we were totally and overwhelmingly honoured to be asked to feature in the official campaign. You can see our full professional images soon as well as a 'Behind The Scenes' post on Mothercare's blog but I just couldn't wait to show you the up and coming pieces - I cannot tell you how stressful it has been trying to keep all the excitement a secret and I hope it was worth the wait x

As ever, let us know your favourite pieces on the #littlebirdbyjools hashtag on Instagram
