With just a week to go (eek!) preparations for this year's Big Feastival have very much begun and as with any party, the most important thing to organise is what to wear! Gone are the days when I can get excited by my own festival style (I will be sporting a different stripe tee/dungaree combo each day) so, as always, the focus is on the kids. This is our third year attending Alex James' farm so we're hoping it's the lucky year of no rain (please) but we'll be enjoying the incredible food, music and festival fashion whatever the weather!

Little Bird is our signature staple almost every day of the year so it's no wonder its bright and fun colours and prints should be a go to for the weekend so I took every opportunity to get my hands on their latest pieces for the occasion - this season's summer fete fabric being my absolute favourite. Even better, pyjamas work wonders for those late night party people to allow the kids to crash out in the cart whenever they want to and be super comfortable doing so. We will be popping our pjs with our must have festival items, a gorgeous crocheted poncho and of course, wellies for the chillier hours.

Light knits are always fab for festivals. With Britain's unpredictable forecast you have to prepare for every eventuality (who remembers last years lightning flash floods?!) and these little cream numbers will work with them all. Easy to layer up or lovely just as they are.

Ted Wears: Zara Cardigan, H&M Vest, Little Bird Leggings*

and most importantly the brighter the better! It is a festival after all. These incredible dungarees will be turning heads for all the right reasons and are practical for running around a field all day and dancing to Olly Murs all night.

Who else is going to the Big Feastival this year? I am so excited to be meeting up with the gorgeous Lisa of Mummy Piggles this time around so if you see us, say hi! and check back in a fortnight to see what feastival fun we got up to
