When I was pregnant with Ivy, I can remember the moment, clear as day, that I made my first Little Bird By Jools purchase - it was an embroidery anglaise smock top with floral pants that we got in the sale. Me and my mama fell in love with it, and when she went 'oooh it's Jools Oliver's range!' I loved it even more. Since then, I have bought little other than this clothing range for Ivy (aka uncontrollable obsession) with it suiting both my very particular tastes and actually, her personality too and this magnificent clothing brand has become a massive part of my life becoming a trademark for my babies to be in and since the launch of Me, Myself and Ivy, it has taken me places I never dreamt would be possible from buying a smock top and pants for my unborn bab.

One of those places was in fact to Jools Oliver's house. Like, her actual house. To celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the Little Bird range, the wonderful team at Mothercare threw one cracker of a birthday party in the Oliver's glorious garden and decided we were also worthy of an invite - I am still pinching myself. Not only did we get to catch a glimpse at the long awaited capsule collection (launching in celebration of this milestone occasion) but we got to chat away to everyone from Jools herself, to lovely neighbours and magazine reps, sip pimms and scoff sausage rolls and just stand near Jamie (but more importantly, River) on a beautiful summer's afternoon. Truly, truly surreal.
