5 Things | We're Loving On Etsy

'Everytime you buy something from an independent shop, someone does a little happy dance'

Isn't Etsy just wonderful? We love finding quirky and unique little stores and brands on this amazing marketplace platform, especially when we know that our well earned pennies are going to an extremely hardworking and passionate person behind the screens. What I would give to have an ounce of the talent these super women have but in fact, it's us doing a little happy dance when these beautiful creations pop through our letter box.

Here are our 5 favourite Etsy Shops right now:

1. Frankies Doodles (Instagram - Etsy Shop)
I'm not afraid to say this extraordinarily talented lady is Ivy's godmother and I could not be prouder of her, her business and the success she has managed to achieve in such a small amount of time as a SAHM (stay at home mama) to gorgeous Aurora. Frankie takes your favourite photos and transforms them into the most incredible pieces of art - as simple as a stunning line drawing or as creative as layered collages on acetate, they are all amazing.

Use code 'BANKHOL10' to get 10% off until midnight Monday 29th May - thank me later

2. Fred and Noah (Instagram - Etsy Shop)
It's no secret how much I love a good twin and Etsy is the easiest place to pick up matching bits for the kids. Fred and Noah's fab leggings are made to order (bingo with such a big size difference required!) and come in an array of colour and choices. These will not be our only pairs.

3. A Little Ray of Crochet (Instagram - Etsy Shop)
I have been following this lovely lady on instagram for as long as I can remember and she has inspired so many of my own pom pom creations (her wall hangings are just perfect) but I could not resist this ridiculously good rainbow cape for Ivy this festival season. Again, made to order in your choice of colours, this craft has been executed to such a perfect standard, I wouldnt recommend anyone else for your crochet bits and bobs.

4. The Fox In The Attic (Instagram - Etsy Shop)
In my hunt for a rainbow cushion, I stumbled across The Fox In The Attic and so wish I'd known about them earlier when I was creating the children's bedroom (which you can see here!) I had a pretty tough time choosing between Michelle's beautiful printed cushions, prints and rattles but naturally, we went for the obvious choice - cactus's came in close second though.

5. Let Me Be Your Fancy Tea (Instagram - Etsy Shop)
Whilst we were expecting Ted, I went in search of a knitter for some proper handmade cardis. There is nothing cuter than a handknit on a newborn and we were totally spoilt with Ivy but sadly with the passing of my Grandma, I was struggling to find what I was after this time around. Kate could not have made us anything more perfect and I can't tell her enough how pleased I am to have something so special to put my boy in and we'll be very regular customers for years to come.

*some, but not all, of these items were purchased using an Etsy giftcard kindly given to us by EtsyUK but product choices, views and other purchases were entirely our own.
