Holiday | Disneyland Paris - Day Two

Tuesday 27th October

Ivy Wears: Marks and Spencer Cardigan, Little Bird Blouse, Mothercare Leggings, Little Bird Shoes

When you book a holiday in Northern France for the end of October you are always going to be taking a gamble with the weather. The last time we were at Disneyland Paris was on this exact date 17 years ago and all it did was pour but this time around, the weather Gods had answered my prayers and it was like summer, hitting a beautiful 20oC

So with the sun shining, we decided to hit the Disneyland Park first and headed straight for Fantasy Land to begin our adventure with the Fairytale Boats and the Casey Junior train, two rides we knew were perfect for Ivy, followed by a wander through Alice's Labyrinth. Whilst Ivy then napped we had a good nosey around Adventure Land to get our bearings then back to Fantasy Land for the two most popular rides Peter Pan's Flight and Dumbo's Flying Elephants

Top Tip: Download the Disneyland Paris App for live waiting times! This was amazing and made our trip much easier than it could have been, we rode on so many things when we could see the queue was shorter than normal but also planned in 'longer waits' so they were spread out from one another. It also showed us which rides we should be using our Fastpasses on!

We then decided to have an explore around Frontier Land, aptly covered in Pumpkins for Halloween and then stopped off for a bite to eat at Victoria's Homestyle Foods. By this time, people were already starting to line the curb for the main Disney Magic parade so we decided to wait it out for prime seats and despite being hesitant to hang around aimlessly for an hour, it turned out to be so worth it (a trick mum had mastered in Orlando) and the perfect end to our first proper day.
