Holiday | Disneyland Paris - Day Four

Thursday 29th October

Ivy Wears: Little Bird Cape, Little Bird Dress

And just like that, we were on our fourth and final day but I felt like we'd spent the perfect amount of time here, having enjoyed both parks at a calm pace and left ourselves enough to come back for.

Top Tip: Use the Disney Express service at your hotel to have your luggage sent directly to the train station at checkout so you don't have to lug it around the park on your final day. This only cost 11 Euros in total. You then collect your luggage just before getting on your train, easy peasy.

We got up and out early to make the most of our final hours and started the day on an old fashioned fire engine before having a second go on our favourite ride Buzz Lightyear's Laser Blast (I lost, again) and I fulfilled a life long dream of riding Space Mountain - without queuing. We had a quick go on Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, via the Dragon in the castle, and then caught the Halloween/Harvest Parade so Ivy could see 'Eee-eee' and 'Eee-eee' (Mickey and Minnie) one final time. We lunched at Hakuna Matata before ending the holiday just as it had began on the Fairytale Boats, then headed back to the train station, having had the most wonderful 4 days away, ever.

Top Tip: If your trains require a change a Lille, allow atleast 1 hour between your trains to get through customs. We only had half and hour, and it wasn't pretty.

Sometimes you just have to make snapshot decisions like booking a crazy holiday, and lucky for me this one really paid off. Ivy was at an age where she just adored every moment, but it was safe to say I enjoyed it even more than she did and I cannot wait to take her back again, asap.
