In | Oreo Fridge Cake

This recipe has been a favourite of mine for as long as I can remember but discontent with my mama's basic broken biscuit cake, I have tweeked it to make it naughtier. This super simple 'cake' can be knocked up in about 15 minutes (even when Ivy is awake) but probably wont last that long if you have guests

You Will Need:

170g Butter
3 tbsp Golden Syrup
3 tbsp Sugar
300g Boring Biscuits (digestives, shortbreads etc)
2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 Packet of Oreos (if Oreos aren't your thing 1. who are you and 2. Reeses work equally as well)
2 bars of Milk Chocolate (optional)

What To Do:

1. Melt together the butter, golden syrup and sugar

2. Whilst that's happening, bash up your biscuits and halve your oreos

3. When your butter etc is done, mix in the cocoa powder, then your biscuit crumbs, and then your oreos

4. Wack it all in a tin and pop it in the fridge!

5. Wait an hour or so before melting the chocolate and smothering it on the top, then back in the fridge until tea time.
